Mitch "Scary Cat" Maxwell

Mitch was a ten year old boy and lives in Carroll Iowa and he got sent to Camp Green Lake because he stole hot pink crackle     fingernail polish from a nail salon. He says he wanted to get his mom some new  fingernail polish for Mother's Day. The police did not believe that. So it was up to Mitch if he wanted to go to prison or Camp Green Lake. Mitch said Camp Green Lake so he went tome and packed up his clothes and went to get on the bus. When he arrived at Camp Green Lake he unpacked his clothes and went to bed. The next day the other kids their started to call him Scary Cat because he had to sleep with a flashlight on.  Mr. Pendanski gave Scary Cat his shovel and showed him where to start digging. Then he found some friends named Armpit, Squid and X-ray. Finally after 5 months Mitch got to go home. His Mom and Dad were not happy they said that you should of not stole finger polish from that salon and you should of just asked your dad or myself for some money.

It rained all night at Camp Green Lake. The Warden was not happy that Stanley got to take the suitcase. Mr. Yelnats got his new invention out in stores and also its a big hit. At the super bowl Mr. and Mrs. Yelnats decided to let Hector join the family. Hector now lives in Stanley's room with Stanley. That night Stanley and Hector got to stay up as long as they wanted to but they had to get some sleep. The next day Stanley and Hector got a autograph from Clyde Livingston. Then after they got their autographs Hector found his mom and she said she is glad to see him too.

       Camp Green Lake is horrible all we do is dig holes. The shower water is very cold. You don't even have any time to wash anything. The Warden has a secret ingredient to her nail polish. I miss you very much and I hope I can come home in a few months. Also the Warden has rattlesnake venom and she put it and Mr. Sirs cheek and he fainted.

When I Grow Up

When I grow up, I want to be a nurse. I think it would be cool to help patients. They get to help people that need help fast. I think its cool  because you get to pick out scrunches. It would be helpful to others if I went and got people that were in accidents. My family would be happy that I became a nurse.

After that, I would  want to be a mechanic. I think it would be fun working with my dad. I think I would be good at changing  the oil in peoples cars. I also think I would be good at helping the costumers. It would be cool because I get to wear a shirt that has my name on it. I know I will be good at  pulling the cars/trucks in the building.

Finally, I would like to be a person that works at a salon. I think I would be a great one. I want to because its fun. I think it will be fun because I will meet new people. I think I will be good at the front desk. I practice at home on myself so I know I will be great.

Chapter 27

Opal said the preacher its time to go home it getting late. Yes sir but dad Amanda whats to know if she can sleep over tonight. Can she dad? Its fine with me but it has to be OK with Amanda's mom. Its OK with her I just called her. That night Amanda and I were  up almost all night. We watched  television  and then had a pillow fight it was fun.  That next morning we brought Amanda home.

 Then  me and the preacher went to Gertrude's pets and you will never believe who was their the cops. I ran right thew that door and saw that Otis was getting put in hand cuffs. I went right over to those cops and said hey what are you doing. They replied This young man has to go to jail because he was playing his guitar to the people at that party last night. From what I heard is that you can't take him to jail because he wasn't playing in the streets. But, young lady he promised us he would never play his guitar ever. Otis I said you lied to us you said that you were not supposed to play in the streets. I know I did but I wanted you not to think I was a criminal. You know that you could of told the truth. I know I could of told you the truth. I'm sorry to say this Otis but I quit.

Back at the trailer their was a knock on the front door and the preacher said it was for me. Guest what it was my mama coming to see me. She said that she missed me and I said that I missed her to and then we hugged. That night she took us out to Dairy Queen and the preacher said he loved her and then they were back together. That night mama slept in my bed with me and she said Winn-Dixie could sleep their in his own bed that we bought him. Well I told mama I don't want to leave Naomi because I had her the preacher and lots of friends.

My Winter Break

On my Winter break I got a Ipod touch (white) from Santa. Most of the time I was at my grandma and grandpa's house. My cousin that are  younger than 12 got to go see Alvin and the Chipmunk's Chipwreck. The older kids saw Mission Impossible. Everyone got what the wanted. I got a Figet Friend (green). If you don't know what it is it is this robot that listens to your music and it's music and it tells you these really funny jokes. At my mom's I got a pillow,blanket,wii games and a Make Your own thing's out of bead's. I played at the park with my cousins. Their was a snow pile and we climbed it. It was a fun Winter Break.
